WHAT’S NEW FOR THE 2024 FORD F-150 LIGHTNING?

The F-150 Lightning is only two years old, so the 2024 model didn’t get any drastic updates. But there are a few new features, including:

  • Keyless entry on all models
  • Updated BlueCruise driver-assist technology
  • The onboard generator now powers up when the truck is unlocked
  • Platinum Black special edition and new Flash trim

2024 FORD F-150 LIGHTNING TRIM LEVELS AND PRICING

The 2024 F-150 Lightning is available in six trims, starting under $55,000, the lowest starting price in its class.

The trims and their starting prices are:

  • 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning Pro: $54,995
  • 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning XLT: $64,995
  • 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning Flash: $73,495
  • 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning Lariat: $79,495
  • 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning Platinum: $84,995
  • 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning Platinum Black: $97,995

The Flash trim is new for 2024 and features a tech-forward interior with a 15.5-inch touchscreen, Band & Olufsen sound system, wireless charging pad, and more.

The Platinum Black special edition has an ultra-modern matte-black wrap with 22-inch black wheels, grille, and badging. There will only be 2,000 Platinum Black models, so get one while you can!

2024 F-150 LIGHTNING TOP FEATURES

Across all models, you’ll enjoy a high-tech cabin with advanced SYNC® 4 software and a 15.5-inch vertical touchscreen. Also available is Ford BlueCruise, which enables hands-free driving on most controlled-access highways in the US.

A hallmark feature of the F-150 Lightning is the front trunk, or “frunk.” This comes standard and provides an additional 14 cubic feet of storage space, which can easily hold up to 400 pounds of luggage or gear! It also generates 2.4 kilowatts of power and has four outlets and two USB charging ports to keep you powered no matter where you are. Lights on the hood illuminate the entire frunk.

F-150 Lightning Battery And Range
All F-150 Lightning models come standard with two electric motors and all-wheel drive. With the Standard-Range battery, the motors combine to make 452 horsepower. Upgrading to the extended-range battery boosts the rating to 580 horsepower. The battery packs each deliver 775 lb-ft of torque. Base models with the standard range 98-kwh battery pack check in with around 240 miles of range. The extended range 131-kwh battery boasts a 320-mile range.

F-150 Lightning Towing Capabilities
With the standard battery, you’ll be able to tow up to 5,000 pounds and have a payload capacity of 2,235 pounds. Upgrade to the extended-range battery and Max Trailer Tow package and your towing capacity jumps to a max of 10,000 pounds!
