A new, exciting street-truck trim level has been added — the Ford Maverick Lobo — and Ford Maverick hybrid models can now be equipped with available all-wheel drive. You can choose between gas-powered and hybrid options; the hybrid engine comes standard with the XL, XLT, and Lariat models, but these models also offer the option of the available gas engine. The Tremor and Lobo models only offer the gas engine.

New exterior updates include a redesigned front bumper, grille, and dark appearance LED headlamps. You can get LED projector headlamps with LED signature accent lighting on higher trim levels, and the Lariat trim level gets new 19-inch wheels. If you upgrade to the available Black Package, you’ll get to admire a unique grille, black roof, black Ford badges, and 19-inch gloss black wheels.
Take your pick between the fuel-efficient 2.5-liter hybrid engine, standard on the XL, XLT, and Lariat, or the powerful 2.0-liter EcoBoost® engine, available on the XL, XLT, and Lariat, and standard on the Tremor and Lobo. The 2.5-liter hybrid engine brings 191 horsepower and 155 pound-feet of torque to the table, while the 2.0-liter EcoBoost® engine brings 238 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque. The hybrid engine is matched with a continuously variable transmission, while the gas engine is matched with an eight-speed automatic transmission. With the available 4K Towing Package (depending on the trim level), you can tow up to 4,000 pounds.
Eager to go off-roading? The Tremor is the trim level you’ll want to take on your next rugged adventure. Offering an elevated ride height, 17-inch all-terrain tires, an off-road tuned suspension, a twin clutch rear drive unit with electronic rear differential locking, and Ford Trail Control™, this pickup is ready to conquer difficult trails. Orange accents provide the perfect finishing touch.
If a street truck is more your speed, you’re going to love the all-new Lobo trim level, which is designed with a lowered ride height, performance-tuned suspension, and enhanced steering and brakes. Other features include a unique grille, a black roof, fog lamps, 19-inch black wheels, black ActiveX™ trimmed seats, and unique accent stitching.
The Maverick FLEXBED® storage system provides excellent storage solutions and organizational possibilities for a variety of loads and cargo. You can even use the tie-downs as bottle openers! The multi-position tailgate can be locked half-closed or placed completely flat to accommodate longer items, like 2x4s.
Inside the cabin, rear underseat bins come standard, helping you keep everything in its proper place. A safe deposit box and console vault are also available and can be added for extra peace of mind and organization while on the road.
But utility doesn’t stop there. The Maverick also provides two 110V/400W outlets, one in the bed and one in the cab, allowing you to power a variety of gear.
